Online broker TD Waterhouse has launched what it says is Australia's first hand-held wireless share-trading service.

The service provides what the blurb describes as a ``user-friendly way of trading with the convenience of the TD Waterhouse website" and the ability to execute a trade unhindered by the limited screen of a mobile phone.

Instead, users can execute trades using a hand-held PC. The service allows customers to access their investment accounts, get live market data and act immediately on market movements while they are away from their desktop PC.

TD Waterhouse managing director Karen Buck says the new form of delivery frees traders from their desktop PC and offers them mobility without limitations.
